a. What is your intended goal and why? (3 marks)
Because berryenvy can’t offer immediate purchases online, the goal for this introductory post is to generate inquiries/bookings. I did this by clearly outlining what the business offers and why it’s valuable to the target audience. I also positioned the brand as “luxe” so that visitors would understand the quality. Highlighting the fact the it is local to windsor essex and offers 2 day pickup was also important. This post was created to move viewers from “this is cute” to “i should get this for my event/gift, it would feel elevated be an easy process”
b. Who are you writing for and why? (3 marks)
I am writing primarily for 25-40 year old women who are planning events such as baby showers, weddings, birthdays in Windsor, Ontario. Also, women planning gift surprises. This is my primary audience because they plan events/gifts where aesthetics and presentation are everything, and this aligns perfectly with berryenvy’s brand. They also have a specific theme or vision in mind and want something photo ready, but event planning or life in general can be stressful and not allow time for a DIY situation. I’m keeping gifting in mind with this audience because they buy for individual people as well (partner, mom, friends).
c. What type of “Experience” will you be creating for the visitors? Please explain and justify your
reasoning. (2 marks)
The experience i want to create for my visitors is relaxing, elevated, and reassuring. I want them to feel like “this would be so perfect for my event/gift!” and feel confident that berryenvy is an established, reliable desert business. This is achieved by clearly explaining how berryenvy can solve their problem, what they provide, what they do differently, and highlighting the easy customization and pick up process, all in one easy to read, clean page.
